Responsibilities
  • Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required

9 college credits in Early Childhood Education and a study plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is required

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred

New York State Teaching (B-2, N-6, 1-6, Special Education) or study plan eligible is preferred

At least two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred

Physical Requirements

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations, physicals, and training. The employee will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in accordance with policies and regulations.

Compensation

The hourly rate ranges from $23.00 to $28.10. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.

This position is eligible for a $1,000 hiring incentive payable after 100 days of employment.
