Responsibilities
  • Create hands-on activities tailored to the needs and interests of children.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
  • Support teaching coverage across various classrooms or age groups within the center or nearby locations.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
  • Required: Twelve semester units in Child Development, including core courses of Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum.
  • AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Transcripts required at the time of hire.
Additional Information

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements, including immunizations and background checks. The role is in-person at an early education center.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate ranges from $21.75 to $26.55, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is also eligible for a $2,000 hiring incentive. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, disability coverage, and opportunities for career development and free college degrees.
