Job summary

CWCC Inc in the Springfield area is seeking a Child Care Teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom for children from infants to school age. This full- or part-time role offers hands-on teaching using Creative Curriculum and strong family partnerships.

You will mentor other staff, document progress, and contribute to a supportive environment with growth opportunities and competitive hourly pay based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Meets Ohio child care licensing requirements including background checks.
• CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience with young children preferred.

What You'll Do

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages infant through school age
• Plan and implement fun, hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum.
• Foster children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills.
• Observe children's development and document progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
• Partner with families and build positive relationships through daily communication and parent conferences.
• Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
