Full-time positions are available at our Bright Horizons at Mermaids Lagoon location.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and employment physicals. The employee will work in person at our early education center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery in accordance with policies and laws to ensure children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $22.75 to $27.80. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and organizational factors.
