Qualifications

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred).
  • Should have 3 WI Teacher courses completed or be willing to complete immediately if hired.

Job description

Full-time day care teaching positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30, with some flexibility.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  2. 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred)
  3. Should have 3 WI Teacher courses completed or be willing to complete immediately if hired
  4. CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field (preferred)
  5. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children
Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and employment physicals. The employee will work in person at the child care center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery to ensure children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is between $17.25 and $21.05, based on experience, education, certifications, and location.
