Job description

Full-time and part-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred)
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children
  • Must meet state requirements to be Teacher Qualified in IL, which include:
    • 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) from an accredited college with courses related to child care/development, OR
    • 1 year (1560 hours) of child development experience plus 30 semester hours in related courses, OR
    • Completion of CDA or approved credential programs.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and physical screenings. You will work in person at our early education center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery in accordance with policies and laws to ensure children's safety. Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $18.50 to $22.60, based on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. Additionally, this position is eligible for a $2,000 hiring incentive paid after 100 days.
