We have full-time and part-time positions available with preschoolers and pre-kindergarten children.

Our center features an Art Studio and Movement Matters Zone, along with multiple enrichment programs including Smartboards, Spanish, Dance, Mandarin, Music, and STEM, plus abundant equipment and materials to make learning fun for everyone!

Responsibilities:

  • Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • Preferred: 1 year of professional experience teaching in childcare, daycare, or preschool settings
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children
  • Must meet state requirements to be Teacher Qualified in Illinois, which can be fulfilled by one of the following:
  • 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) from an accredited college with 6 semester or 9 quarter hours in child care/development courses, or
  • 1 year (1560 hours) of child development experience plus 30 semester/45 quarter hours in relevant courses, or
  • Completion of approved credential programs or CDA.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with all applicable health, safety, and immunization requirements. You will work in person to supervise and care for children, delivering curriculum in accordance with policies and laws to ensure their safety. Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $18.50 to $22.60, depending on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
