Job summary

Bright Horizons in Wisconsin is seeking a Teacher to work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Full‑time and part‑time positions are available, with a benefit of pursuing a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will help create engaging activities and support families while meeting safety standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and relevant early education coursework or a CDA, plus state qualifications (EC1/EC2/Infant‑Toddler) or an AA/BA in Early Childhood.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • CDA or college-level early education coursework required.
  • WI state qualifications: 3 state classes (EC1/EC2/Infant-Toddler).
  • AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or CDA preferred.
  • One year of professional teaching experience in child care or preschool preferred.
  • CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education preferred.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Qualifications
  • Age 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Related college‑level early education coursework or CDA is required.
  • Must meet State of WI teacher qualifications: 3 state classes (EC1/EC2/Infant‑Toddler).
  • OR an AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a CDA.
  • One year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10 to 40 pounds; occasionally lift, carry, or hold weight over 40 pounds.
  • Demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise fully participate in activities.
  • Respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies.
  • Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $17.25 – $21.05. The pay range listed is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
