Job description

Full-time and part-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • MUST MEET State of WI teacher qualifications (at a minimum): 3 State classes (EC1/EC2/Infant-Toddler)
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements. You will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, ensuring the safety of children and adherence to laws and regulations.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is between $17.75 and $21.70, depending on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. The position is also eligible for a hiring incentive.
