Job description

Full-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements, including immunizations and employment physicals, in accordance with laws and regulations. The role involves working in person at an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons' policies, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is between $17.00 and $20.75. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
