Job description

Responsibilities
  • Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool setting
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children
Physical Requirements

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements, including immunizations, physicals, and training. The employee will work in person at an early education center to supervise, care for children, and deliver curriculum, ensuring safety and adherence to policies and laws.

Compensation

The hourly rate is $20.25 - $24.75, based on experience and other factors. A $500 hiring incentive is available after 100 days of employment.
