Child Care Teacher Aide - Full-Time 40 hrs/wk

Job Details

Position: Child Care Teacher Aide

Schedule: Seasonal full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, 40 hours/week, $16.00/hour during summer.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Program Leader in planning, developing, and implementing classroom activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Maintain licensing standards at all times.
  • Serve as a role model and assist children with self-care.
  • Implement the Center’s program and maintain classroom cleanliness.
  • Perform duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Completed Infection Control training and/or retraining.
  • Satisfactory completion of annual training as per Licensing Standards.
  • Physical ability to lift children, assist with evacuation, and communicate effectively with children.
  • Clear TB test in communicable form.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Establish rapport with children, maintain good relationships with co-workers, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and communicate with emergency personnel.
