Child Care Teacher

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
• Related college coursework or CDA coursework is required; CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements, including immunizations and employment physicals. You will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures, and legal requirements to ensure children's safety.

Hourly Rate and Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.00 - $23.20 per hour. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
