Job description

Full-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and twos at these locations in Philadelphia:

  • Bright Horizons at Sound Start (2970 Market Street)
  • Bright Horizons at Center City (1601 Market Street)
  • Bright Horizons at Philadelphia Cathedral (23 South 38th Street)
Responsibilities
  • Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • 5 years teaching experience in a group child care setting, willing to obtain CDA
  • OR BA/AA in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services
  • CDA with one year experience in group child care
  • Bachelor's degree including 30 credit hours in relevant fields and 1 year of experience
  • Associate's degree in relevant fields and 2-3 years of experience

Physical Requirements

This position requires compliance with health and safety regulations, including immunizations and background checks. Work is in person in an early education center, ensuring children's safety and well-being.

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation

The starting hourly rate is $17.50 - $21.35, depending on experience, education, and other factors.
