Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years old with a relevant care certificate.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Care for little learners ages 6 weeks to 18 months of age with a ratio of 1 teacher to 5 students.
  2. Responsible for overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  3. Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
  4. Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infant and Toddler children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
  5. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  7. Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  8. Build relationships with families and coworkers, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications:

  1. At least nineteen (19) years of age.
  2. Hold a certificate in infant and toddler care from a regionally accredited college or university with completion of a minimum of 30 semester hours in the development and care of infants and toddlers in a group setting.
  3. Or an adult who is currently certified and has completed the Department approved expanding quality in infant and toddler development course of training.
  4. Colorado Shines (PDIS) Credential 3.0 Level II or higher preferred.
  5. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  6. Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  7. Federal, State, and local background checks are required.
