Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and physical/screening requirements. The employee will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services according to Bright Horizons’ policies and legal standards, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.75 to $31.45. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. The position is also eligible for a $1,500 Hiring Incentive.
