Job description

Full-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
  4. Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements: 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations, employment physical/screening, and training. You will work in person at an early education center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery in accordance with policies and laws to ensure children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is between $18.75 and $22.90. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. The position is also eligible for a hiring incentive of $1,250 for full-time or $750 for part-time roles.
