Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking a full-time Preschool/Childcare Teacher to join our Nevada team. We offer dental, vision, health insurance and a 100% employer match retirement plan. Early Childhood Education college tuition scholarships through Western Nevada College are available.

No prior experience required, but you must LOVE children!! You will teach basic skills, organize activities, read aloud, and supervise children across daily routines.

Qualifications

Must LOVE children.
Willing to complete state and federal background check.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
TB test prior to first day of hire.
Initial/annual trainings within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition.
Prepare materials and classrooms for activities.
Read books to classes or small groups.
Organize activities to promote physical, mental and social development.
Enforce administration policies and rules governing students.
Attend to children's basic needs by feeding, dressing and changing diapers.
Serve meals and snacks per nutritional guidelines.
Adapt teaching methods to meet varying needs and interests.
Plan a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time.
Label materials and display students' work appropriately.

About This Role

What You'll Do

Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
Execute and carry out daily lesson plans and learning activities.
Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers.
Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
Read books to entire classes or to small groups.
Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students.
Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
Teach proper eating habits and personal hygiene.
Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate those objectives to children.
Demonstrate activities to children.
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
Organize and label materials and display students' work in a manner appropriate for their ages and perceptual skills.
