Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. You will support the Lead Teacher in delivering a safe, nurturing learning environment, implementing engaging lessons, and monitoring daily activities to support each child’s goals.

You will help with supervision, small-group instruction, and maintaining a clean, organized classroom. The role emphasizes strong communication with families and colleagues and seeks a long-term commitment to early childhood care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the Lead Teacher.
• Supervise and engage in activities during classroom and outdoor time, ensuring safety.
• Guide students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Assist with classroom management, routines, transitions, and keeping a tidy learning space.
• Provide input for bi-annual assessments of children's development.
• Maintain daily communication with families via Brightwheel app.
• Help children establish good hygiene habits and diaper changes.

About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young minds can thrive. You will help implement engaging lesson plans, manage daily classroom activities, and provide individualized attention to support each child's goals and achievements. We are looking for someone who has a warm and friendly personality, is sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, and be able to relate well with children and coworkers. We would love to find someone who is looking for a long-term career in child care.

What You'll Do

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher
• Supervise and engage in activities during classroom and outside time and ensure safety at all times
• Guide students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Assist with classroom management, routine transitions, and maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
• Provide input for bi-annual assessment of children's development
• Maintain daily open communication with families through the use of a tracking app (Brightwheel)
• Help children establish good habits of personal hygiene as well as change diapers
