Job description

Child Care Teacher

Full-time positions are available with Infants, Toddlers, Early Preschool, and Preschool, working from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  2. 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred).
  3. CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field (preferred).
  4. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children (required).

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable laws and requirements regarding immunizations, health and safety training, and physical standards. If hired, you will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery in accordance with Bright Horizons' policies and legal regulations to ensure children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $22.75 to $27.80. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other relevant factors.
