Job summary

Cradlerock Children's Center is seeking a warm, patient teacher to support young children in growth, learning, and safety. You will provide nurturing, energetic care and partner with families to create a positive classroom culture.

The role includes supervising children, attending trainings, meeting MSDE professional development requirements, and contributing to a respectful team. Strong teamwork and communication are essential, along with a background check.

Qualifications

• 90 Hour certification not required, but a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, organization, and child supervision skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children during all activities, including meals, rest periods, and play.

Health & Safety

• Ensure the safety and welfare of children, protecting them from physical or emotional harm.
• Maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios at all times.
• Promote healthy routines, hygiene practices, and a clean environment by sanitizing toys, tables, and surfaces.

• Communicate professionally and respectfully at all times.

Classroom & Administrative Duties

Working Conditions

• Year-round program. Looking for 12-6, 3-6 and 9-6 shifts.
• Closed for 12 Federal Holidays annually.
• Mandatory (paid) monthly staff meetings and professional development sessions.

• Must complete a post-offer physical exam and medical history check.
