Tandem is powering the substitute pool for the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County. Cocoa Beach, FL-based substitute teachers are invited to join a flexible program across participating childcare centers, with shifts that fit your life and daily pay options.

Role involves stepping into classrooms for infants to school-age children, supporting staff, maintaining ratios, and ensuring a smooth day. Prior early childhood experience is valued; 18+ and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a child care, day care, or preschool setting.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to pass a Level 2 background check.
• Comfortable working with all age groups, from infants to school-age children.

What You'll Do

As a substitute teacher, you'll step into daycare classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children to support full-time staff, help maintain ratios, and keep the day running smoothly. You'll gain experience across different participating childcare centers and age groups while building relationships throughout the local early learning community.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma, GED, or transcript
• 1 or more years of prior experience in a child care, day care, or preschool setting
• Able to pass a Level 2 background check
• Comfortable working with all age groups, from infants to school-age children
