SHUMWAY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a part‑time Child Care Student Worker for Kids Express (Elementary Age). You will supervise children, assist with curriculum, manage mealtimes, and maintain classroom organization while supporting safety and positive behavior.

Starting immediately, applicants must be at least 16, be enrolled in Chandler USD, and hold CPR/First Aid and fingerprint clearance as applicable.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Chandler USD high school student.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• AZ IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card if over 18.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• AZ CBC background check.
• Desire to increase knowledge of Elementary Education.
• Meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency.
• Knowledge of social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good verbal and written communication for job functions.
• Ability to obtain transportation to and from worksite without district involvement.
