Soar is seeking a Child Care Specialist to provide one-on-one support for children aged 2–6 in a clinic setting, guided by science-backed, naturalistic therapy methods. As a Child Care Specialist, you'll have the remarkable chance to contribute directly to the growth of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role works in collaboration with a team of experts, including Board‑Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. It is an entry‑level role and does not require prior certification; we provide complete training for this position.

  • Team up with the child's healthcare professionals to provide consistent, high‑quality care.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, is required (verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification).
  • Previous experience with children aged 2‑6, ideally in a professional capacity.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within the first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training).
  • Note: RBT certification required for CO Springs location.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer and tablet literacy.
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential.
  • Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client.
  • Preference for college graduates or people pursuing a college degree.

  • $21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion.
