Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking a compassionate School Director to lead our early childhood program in Madison, AL. The ideal candidate will recruit and mentor staff, ensure adherence to our global curriculum, and drive enrollment while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will collaborate with parents and leadership to deliver excellent customer service, manage administrative duties, and oversee budgeting and licensing reporting. Join a team that values teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of proven management work experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Candidate must pass all background checks and state requirements.
• CPR and First Aid Certification; proficient in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train high-quality teachers and staff to provide a top-notch learning environment.
• Ensure our global education curriculum and age-appropriate learning are utilized.
• Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the state and corporate office.
• Create marketing plans to share our unique program with the community and prospective parents.
• Meet with parents, staff, and leadership to communicate student goals and provide superior customer service.
• Maintain constant communication with parents about progress and activities.
• Handle administrative duties including accounting and budgeting as assigned.
• Maximize enrollment while maintaining required staff-child ratios.
• Generate reports for licensing, operations and marketing per company standards.
• Train and daily use of various software systems; meet licensing, training and safety requirements.

As an Early Childhood School Director, you will:

• Recruit, hire and train high-quality teachers and staff that are motivated to provide our top-notch learning environment for children.
• Ensure our global education curriculum, branding and age-appropriate learning are being utilized.
• Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the state and corporate office.
• Create marketing plans to share our unique program throughout the community and to prospective parents through special events, tours, and enrollment.
• Meet with parents, staff, and leadership to communicate student goals and provide superior customer service.
• Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children and activities of the company and center.
• Tackle administrative duties that include accounting, budgeting, and others as assigned.
• Maximize enrollment while maintaining required ratio.
• Generate reports for licensing, operations and marketing according to company
• This requires the training and daily usage of various software systems. Responsible for meeting all licensing, training and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred, or other related credential
• Three to five years of proven management work experience in a licensed childcare facility
• Candidate must also pass all background checks and meet state requirements
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and / or G Suite
• Experience working with financial and administrative processes and systems
• Excellent knowledge of early childhood child development
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
