Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe, clean, and creative environment.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage physical activity, learning, and social interaction.
• Provide a warm and nurturing atmosphere, helping children adjust to the drop-in setting.
• Maintain safety and health protocols, including monitoring for illness symptoms and separating children when needed.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents regarding their child’s experience.
• Uphold Tyke Town’s mission of promoting active lifestyles and healthy habits for young children.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive, nurturing, and patient demeanor
• Preferred:
  • Experience in childcare, early education, or similar fields
  • Enthusiasm for creating engaging activities and fostering a love for learning

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Closed: Saturday & Sunday

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
