Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a dedicated family services liaison to bridge classroom and home settings in education, child development and mental health.

You will verify age and income of families according to MAP’s Procedures and guidelines and replace vacancies to ensure centers maintain full enrollment. Responsibilities include preparing and mailing parent surveys, distributing recruitment materials, and tracking attendance in a computerized system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology or related field including coursework in social work, child development, counseling or psychology preferred.
• Two years of experience in family social services setting preferred, including knowledge of community resources for referrals to families in need of services.
• Ability to handle sensitive family situations in a non-threatening and professional manner.
• Ability to set and maintain professional boundaries with families.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and intervention preferred.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with word processing, e-mail and Internet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate family needs; may include some evenings or weekends.
