Paycom - ATS is seeking a Center Administrator professional to supervise center staff in the absence of the Center Administrator and to coordinate core operations across education, family services, and nutrition.

The role requires demonstrated administration experience, strong Head Start knowledge, and effective communication to ensure staffing, compliance, and high-quality services for enrolled families.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in administration and supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of Head Start theories and practices in Early Childhood Development.
  • Working knowledge of Head Start and Child Care regulatory environment.
  • Oral and written communication skills that facilitate positive feedback across levels of operation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise center staff in the absence of the Center Administrator.
  • Inform Center Administrator of staffing needs and changes immediately.
  • Assist in mid-year and annual performance evaluations of Center staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date staff credentials and records for professional development progress.
  • Assist in coordinating and arranging services across Education, Family Services, Nutrition, and Center Operations.
  • Monitor classrooms daily to ensure staff–child ratios are maintained.
  • Monitor and coordinate service delivery appointments for families.
  • Record and report attendance and reporting variances to Center Administrator.

Job description

Supervise center staff in the absence of the Center Administrator.Inform Center Administrator of staffing needs and changes immediately.Assist in mid-year and annual performance evaluations of Center staff.Maintain an up-to-date listing of all staff credentials and records on professional development pursuit status for those pursuing degree course work to assure staff progress towards educational requirements as supported by MAP and Head Start Performance Standards.Center Operations and Program CoordinationAssist in the coordination and arrangement of services in all functional areas, utilizing internal and external resources to provide quality services as deemed appropriate for each enrolled families to include but may not be limited to the following areas:Education and Early Childhood DevelopmentMonitor all classrooms daily to observe staff::child interactions and to assure staff::child ratio is being maintained.Notify Center Administrator immediately of staffing or T&TA needs identified.Family and Community ServicesCoordinate and monitor daily activities of family services staff to include but not limited to scheduling service delivery appointments (medical, dental, FPA, home visits, etc.) to assure quality services are provided within required time frames.Nutrition and Food ServicesPrior to each meal, conduct head-count for each classroom and provide accurate counts to appropriate Food Service staff.Reconcile meals and child attendance records daily.Child Attendance and AbsenteeismMonitor child attendance daily to assure timely and appropriate follow-up is provided; report variances such as poor attendance and regular tardiness to Center Administrator immediately.Demonstrated experience in administration and supervision.Strong knowledge of Head Start theories and practices of Early Childhood Development, Human Services and/or Human DevelopmentWorking knowledge of Head Start and Child Care regulatory environment.Associate Degree or above in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or an equivalent combination.Demonstrated experience in office management, case management or related areas.Working knowledge of child development or social service programs; human resources management or related area in a non-profit organizationOral and written communication skills which facilitate and support positive feedback among operational levels
