Position Details
  • Location: Porter, DE
  • Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
  • Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years in your classroom.
  • Create developmentally appropriate curriculum based on NAEYC standards.
  • Develop programs and activities aligned with children’s interests and learning styles.
  • Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment that encourages growth and exploration.
  • Partner with families to develop care and education plans.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their children.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA credential.
  • Preferred: 1 year experience in licensed child care.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Availability to work within regular operating hours.
  • Meet state criteria for child care employment.
