Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  2. Twelve semester units in Child Development, including core courses of Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum (Required)
  3. Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development (Required)
  4. AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
  5. Transcripts will be required at the time of hire

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures, and guidance, ensuring the safety of children and compliance with laws and regulations.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $21.75 – $26.55 per hour. The pay range listed is what Bright Horizons anticipates offering; actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
