The Learning Lamp is hiring for a childcare role focused on safety, daily care, and curriculum support for young children. You will supervise activities, assist with feeding and diapering, and help implement age-appropriate learning experiences.

Formación

CPR Certification required and clearances/training including PA State Criminal History, Child Abuse, FBI checks, and Mandated Reporter Training are required.
Clearances must be kept current.
Physical within one year prior to start date; TB test within three months prior.
Bachelor’s or Associate degrees must be from an accredited college/university in early childhood education, child development, or related human service field.

Responsabilidades

Ensure the safety and well‑being of children at all times.
Supervise indoor and outdoor activities in a secure environment.
Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and other basic care routines.
Foster independence by encouraging age‑appropriate self‑help skills.
Follow daily schedules and implement age‑appropriate activities.
Support classroom staff with games, arts, crafts, and learning activities.
Maintain positive communication with parents, children and staff.
Encourage positive behavior with patience, redirection and reinforcement.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards and assist with basic first aid.
Assist with daily documentation of activities, incidents and observations.
Engage families for positive relationships and collaboration.
Be flexible to work shifts including summer, school breaks, holidays, and other as-needed shifts.
