Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care Career Center in Union, KY is seeking an Infant Teacher Assistant for a full-time, 10am–6pm schedule. No evenings or weekends. You will work closely with teachers and families to provide a safe, nurturing environment following NAEYC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that supports growth and exploration.
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

As a InfantTeacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
