Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring an Assistant Infant Teacher in Hamilton, OH. You will work closely with teachers and families to create a welcoming home-like environment for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines.

The role involves assisting in classrooms, decorating spaces, and maintaining a safe, engaging setting. Ideal candidates have strong customer service, organizational skills, and a willingness to work regular hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks–12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and fosters growth.
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
