Child Care Center Cook

Bring your cooking talents and kitchen management skills as a Cook / Chef at Bright Horizons. You'll plan menus, prepare meals, and order inventory as you make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and staff.

This is a Full Time TEMPORARY role.
Shift Available: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

As a Cook, you will:

  • Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff.

  • Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.

  • Manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals, as well as cleaning and complying with sanitation requirements.

Requirements:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school degree or GED required

  • Relevant experience working in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen required

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The hourly rate for this position is between $12.96 - 17.51. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
