Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Description

High Pointe Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education.

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, Serve Safe certificate, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Compensation: $16 - $18 an hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process

  • Resume screen
  • Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
  • On-site interview with Center Director (30-45 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing nutritious well-balanced meals, that meet food program requirements for items served.
  • Oversee the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen.
  • Manage monthly inventory on non-food items, such as cups, plates etc. as well as all food items needed for the food service order; disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply order to appropriate areas of the building.
  • Request items within budget for additional equipment needed to help maintain the kitchen and mealtimes on track and turn in request to the Center Director.
  • Assist in the classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being an additional support resource.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
