BrightPath Kids is looking for a full-time educator at our BrightPath center in Tewksbury, MA. The role offers a competitive hourly pay scale and no evenings or weekends, with benefits including a childcare discount and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or credential required for MA childcare roles.
• 2+ years in licensed child care preferred.
• Strong customer service and organization skills.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentoring Teachers and Assistant Teachers within centers.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curating programs based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partnering with families to support care and education plans.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

• Overseeing programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentoring Teachers and Assistant Teachers within our centers.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR EEC State of MA Teacher certification required
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
