Job summary

Bright Horizons in Colquitt, GA seeks a Child Care Assistant Director to support the Center Director, guide daily operations, and uphold Bright Horizons' standards for care, learning, and safety. This leadership role involves mentoring teachers and building strong relationships with families to help the center thrive.

The position is in-person at the Miller County Care Academy with hours from 10:15 am to 7:15 pm, and a salary range of $53,000 to $59,750 per year.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education is required; bachelor’s preferred.
• At least two years of leadership experience in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health, safety and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Uphold mission, culture, and values to foster inclusive environment and strong relationships with families, staff, and clients.
• Monitor program quality and ensure children's learning is documented and visible.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
