Job summary

Learning Care Group in Summerville, SC is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to keep our building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly so children can learn and grow in a healthy environment.

You will assist with restrooms, janitorial tasks, seasonal decorations, and general upkeep; prior childcare experience is not required, but comfort around kids and teamwork are essential. We offer benefits and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly; complete janitorial tasks like vacuuming, mopping, dusting, windows, and restrooms; manage trash.
• Clean school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls; restrooms and dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you:

• Keep things fresh! Work to keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition. Completes janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms. Gathers and empty trash.
• Keep things working! Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls. Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Keep things festive! Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
