Job summary

La Petite Academy in Chesapeake, VA is hiring a Housekeeping Aide to support a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for children and families. You will be part of a team that prioritizes health and safety while delivering reliable janitorial services throughout the center.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas; restocking supplies; and assisting with seasonal decorations to keep the space inviting all year round.

Responsibilities

• Keep things fresh! Work to keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition. Completes janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms. Gathers and empty trash.
• Keep things working! Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls. Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Keep things festive! Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
