Job Details

Position: Child Care Center Cook, Food Specialist

Responsibilities include preparing nutritious meals for children, adhering to menus and schedules, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritious meal plans within budget, following state and federal regulations.
• Prepare meals and snacks, distribute food to classrooms.
• Follow daily menus compliant with USDA, licensing, and health department standards.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher/Floater when required.

Job Requirements

• Experience in cooking or food preparation for groups, preferred.
• Willingness to learn and comply with regulations.
• Flexible schedule, ability to adapt to changing hours.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly pay: $15.75 - $22.05, with options for bi-weekly or daily pay.
