Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Specialist to manage the overall food preparation for our enrolled children, creating home-style, nutritious meals and snacks within the school menu and budget.

You will follow the Director’s daily menu, align with USDA, licensing, and health department regulations, and adapt to menu changes as needed.

Maintain inventory, order supplies, and assist in classrooms when needed, contributing to a safe, healthy, and engaging childcare environment.

Qualifications

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility, preferred.
• A willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work.
