About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Child Care Bus Driver to join our team at The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool in Clarksville, TN. As a bus driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of children to and from our facility. The current routes are from 7:45 am to 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm. Additional hours may be available if applicants wish to work in before & after school care classrooms. There are also additional opportunities to drive for field trips.

Responsibilities:

1. Transport children to and from the child care center and preschool safely and on time.
2. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children on the bus.
3. Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
4. Maintain a clean and organized bus.
5. Communicate effectively with staff and administration.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain prior to driving duties
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Experience working with children
• Friendly and patient demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and annual physical
• Complete pre-employment and annual training requirements
