What You'll Do

As a Child Care Associate, you will play an important role in supporting children’s development while creating a safe and welcoming environment for learning and exploration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing attentive care and active supervision to children.
  • Maintaining a physically and emotionally safe environment where children feel supported and valued.
  • Planning and maintaining consistent daily routines that encourage learning, growth, and positive behavior.
  • Using supportive guidance and positive redirection techniques to promote classroom management and social development.
  • Responding promptly and appropriately to children's individual needs as they arise.
  • Assisting with the implementation of age-appropriate activities and programming.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with children, families, school personnel, and fellow staff members.
  • Supporting a collaborative team environment focused on providing exceptional care and educational experiences.

Requirements
Preferred qualifications, skills and experience:
  • Experience with the Primary Years Program or early childhood education
  • Language Fluency in Spanish, French, or Mandarin
  • International outlook and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
