Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care in West Hartford seeks a Teacher Assistant to work alongside teachers and families, providing a home-like, nurturing setting for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years, in accordance with NAEYC guidelines.

You will help with classroom instruction, safety supervision, decorating spaces, and maintaining a warm, clean environment that supports children's curiosity and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
