Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking a Teacher Assistant in Woburn, MA. You will work closely with teachers to create a safe, nurturing environment for children from 6 weeks through 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines and BrightPath procedures.

No classroom experience? Paid training is provided. This full-time role offers a stable schedule with no evenings or weekends, and a valued childcare discount for employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
