Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support teachers and families in a warm, safe classroom setting serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years. You will help with instruction, supervise activities, and keep environments tidy and inviting.

No classroom experience? Paid training is provided to learn procedures and policies, ensuring you can contribute from day one and grow within a compassionate childcare team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities.

What will you be doing?

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
