• Prepare and manage an engaging environment to foster independence and learning choices.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement play-based curriculum.
• Develop warm, responsive relationships so children feel secure.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, clean environment for children and staff.
• Communicate regularly with families about each child’s day.
• Support teachers in observing and documenting child development.
• Follow state licensing rules and guidelines (NAEYC, Paths to QUALITY, CACFP, Indiana licensing).
