Job summary

Logos Edge Activities Center is seeking a Child Care Worker to provide a safe, caring environment for children and support the childcare program operations. The role emphasizes supervision, engaging activities, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in a gymnastics facility.

The position requires daytime and evening availability, reliable punctuality, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, with full adherence to safety guidelines and family communication.

Qualifications

• No prior childcare experience required, but highly preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication with children and parents is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in accordance with facility policies and safety guidelines.
• Provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.
• Monitor children during play, activities, and transitions.
• Assist children with age-appropriate activities and games.
• Maintain supervision and ensure children remain safe while in care.
• Communicate positively and professionally with parents, children, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary childcare environment.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing toys, equipment, and areas as needed.
• Help children follow facility rules and behavior expectations.
• Respond to minor injuries or incidents following safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Support Parents Night Out, camps, special events, and other activities.
