Job summary

Wright Directions Family Services in Charleston, SC is seeking a Bachelor’s Level Direct Care Staff on a contractor basis to provide behavioral health support for at-risk youth through school, after-school, home and community-based services.

The position offers pay of $20-25/hr for face-to-face behavior support and $25/hr for crisis management, with competitive pay based on experience and schedule flexibility. An outstanding interdisciplinary clinical team supports staff and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a program that is primarily psychological in nature (e.g., counseling, guidance, or social science equivalent).
• Experience working with the population served preferred.

Responsibilities

• Behavioral modification intervention to children and adolescents with mild to severe behavioral disturbances.
• In-school, after-school/evening, home & community-based service interventions.
• Family Support Services designed to assist families to develop strategies for coping more effectively with problems resulting from behavioral health issues.
• Independent Living Skills - basic living, problem-solving, and social skill building.
