Job summary

Intercept Health is seeking an entry-level Child Behavior Specialist to implement individualized plans, observe client progress, and collect data under supervision. You will work with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism or developmental disabilities in a center-based program focused on language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, an RBT credential (or will achieve it within 6 months with IH support), and afternoon

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's in Behavioral Science preferred.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician credential or willingness to complete within 6 months with IH training.
• Afternoon availability through 6 P.M.
• Experience with children, autism, or developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement an individualized plan to decrease unsafe behaviors while increasing communication and social skills.
• Observe client skills and collect data to inform program goals.
• Work with children, adolescents, and young adults in a center-based program.
• Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for supervision.

Education

High School Diploma

Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science (preferred)

Registered Behavior Technician credential (current or within 6 months)
